About us
Laguna de Valfría was born from the restoration of a traditional mountain shelter with more than 150 years of history, set in the heart of the Saja-Besaya Natural Reserve in Cantabria.
Surrounded by forests, mountains and over 25,000 m² of private natural land, we wanted to preserve the true essence of this special place, respecting its original architecture, stone walls, timber and deep connection with the surrounding landscape.
The house is supplied with water from a natural spring and powered by solar energy, reflecting our vision of tourism: authentic, sustainable and closely connected to nature.
Laguna de Valfría
is a retreat designed to escape the pace of everyday life, enjoy the silence, explore the mountains, observe wildlife or simply take in the landscape. A place born from a deep connection with this land and a desire to preserve it and share it with others
